YAMARAN consortium and MNEV & K production facilities continue to work on improvement of the design of the YAMARANTM™ boats and adaptation of the boats for Russian conditions of use. Since February 2002 we started to produce the YAMARANTM™ boats of series "B". The boats of series "B" have a number of significant differences from the boats of series "A", with the major ones being:

-Reinforcement with the strong rubber profile is provided in the zone of attachment of the fabric to the bottom of the transom. Additional reinforcement by strong rubber profile is provided in the zone of ends of the floats, which improves the wear resistance of the boat and diminishes the probability of damage of the boat in operation.

- Added reinforcement is provided with the strong rubber profile on the outside of the bottom in the zone of contact of the fabric with the stringers, which diminishes the probability of damage of the boat in case of unauthorized operation (movement over rapids, etc.).

- Use on the boats B360, B380, B400 and B430 of the high transom board with depression in the middle. This allows to increase the length of the joint of the transom board with floats, and thus, improve overall stiffness of the boat structure, reduction in the level of vibration of the transom and decrease in splashing from the stern of the boat.

- Development of the new bags under the seats. The top of the bag serves as upholstered cover of the seat. The bag located under the seat does not come into contact with the bottom of the boat to ensure that contents of the bags are dry at all times.

- Fasteners of the petrol tanks are shifted to the port side of the boat. Such arrangement of the tank leaves more leg room for the driver and improves centering of the boat.

- Internal handle is moved forward. New arrangement of the handle is selected in such a way as to ensure more convenience for the driver to hold by this handle with one hand and to control the engine with the other hand.

The YAMARAN™ boats of series "B" are made of high-quality fabric of German manufacture. In production of the boats B300 and B330 the use is made of the fabrics with density of 1000 g/m2, in production of the boats B360, B380, B400 and B430 - the fabrics with density of 1200 g/m2.
